An intimate chef’s table dining experience built around fire, storytelling and unique ingredients.

Hosted by chef and founder Mark Andrews, this experience is designed for private groups of up to 8 guests and held at a venue of your choice. Mark serves a multi-course tasting menu of his signature hyper-seasonal dishes cooked over open fire, with paired wines and seasonal wild cocktails introduced along the way.

 
 
 
 

the EXPERIENCE

Fire crackles and smoke drifts as each course is prepared in front of the guests. Small plates and yakitori-style skewers are cooked and served straight from the fire. Think meat sizzling over hot coals, roasted shellfish, autumn truffles, wild mushrooms, a glass of chilled white - the experience unfolds naturally around the table.

Hosted by Mark, the experience draws on his years of travel, outdoor cooking and time spent exploring in wild places - the inspiration behind many of the dishes and stories shared at the table. The menu is accompanied by a considered selection of wines and wild cocktails, made using house-crafted syrups and seasonal infusions.

The Dining Experience can be hosted in a range of settings - from your garden at home or a holiday rental, to a woodland or other outdoor space with the right access. FIRE + WILD is known for hosting experiences in wild locations, and can help advise on, or source, a suitable venue for those looking for a more immersive setting.

 
 

HOW IT WORKS

  1. We host this experience for a maximum of up to 8 guests, allowing the experience to remain intimate, social and fully curated throughout.

  2. A multi-course tasting menu - served as canapés, bites and small plates, many cooked over fire, along with dessert items, shared as they’re ready.

  3. The hosting, paired wines and seasonal wild cocktails are included.

  4. All equipment provided, including firewood, tableware and glassware.

  5. The experience is designed as a single sitting - around 3 hours in total.

  6. Hosted at your chosen venue, or we can help source a suitable location.


THE MENU

Dishes are inspired by the changing seasons and the landscape — native plants, fungi, fresh-caught fish and ethically sourced game sit alongside local produce. Each dish reflects a connection to place and to fire, with many ingredients sourced through foraging, fishing and hunting. The menu is created by Mark and revealed to guests on the day, explained as each dish is served. While a small number of preferences can be discussed in advance, the menu is intentionally not bespoke.

Pricing

The Private Dining experience package is priced at £1800

This is a fixed package for up to 8 guests.
The price remains the same regardless of final numbers.

Includes a seasonal tasting menu, paired wines, cocktails and hosting throughout the evening.

For context, this equates to £225 per guest when booked for a full table of 8.

A fee for travel may apply depending on location.

  • No — This private Dining Experience is intentionally limited to small groups of up to 8 people guests to maintain the intimacy and flow of the experience. For larger gatherings or commissioned events, please see Bespoke Projects.

  • The menu is created by Mark and revealed on the night. A small number of preferences and dietary considerations can be discussed in advance, but the experience is not fully bespoke in terms of menu design.

  • Wines and wild cocktails are thoughtfully paired with the menu, but if you have specific favourites or preferences, please mention these at the time of enquiry and Mark will do his best to accommodate them. There may be an additional charge for any changes or specific requests.
