COOKING WITH FIRE - KENT - 10/10/26

COOKING WITH FIRE - KENT - 10/10/26
As autumn settles across the Kent countryside and the game season begins, join us for a day of outdoor cooking at a secluded old railway cutting near Canterbury.
Set within a private woodland site, this hands-on experience explores the fundamentals of cooking with fire through seasonal ingredients, traditional techniques and a guided foraging walk. Working together throughout the day, we’ll prepare a series of dishes over wood and charcoal while learning how to build and manage fire, cook confidently over live flame and make the most of simple tools.
From preparing meat, fish and vegetables to cooking over embers, cast iron and open flame, you’ll gain practical skills that can be recreated at home or on your own outdoor adventures.
The day includes a generous shared feast, bringing together everything we’ve prepared over the fire, accompanied by carefully selected wines, seasonal cocktails and refreshments.
Whether you’re completely new to cooking outdoors or looking to develop your skills, this is an opportunity to spend a day immersed in nature, learning around the fire and enjoying some of our signature dishes in one of FIRE + WILD’s newest locations.
